GoodMood GoodMood sold R&D unit to Camtenna and will focus on its strongly growing clientele's internet video solutions GoodMood has sold GoodMoodTV R&D unit to a private investor group, Camtenna Ltd. In the future GoodMood will focus on its strongly growing clientele's internet video production, publishing and delivery. GoodMoodTV platform already delivers over 20 million videos to over 1700 customer solutions per month. The arrangement is a continuation of the MBO deal executed by C& M Capital and Christian Kolster in January 2009, when management bought GoodMood stock back from capital stock investment company 3i Group. GoodMood has a strong position on internet video market. The company has been developing demanding video solutions for different customer needs in Finland and abroad for over 10 years. GoodMood CEO Olli Ilmolahti considers that this was the right moment to move away from R&D to sales and service organization and to focus on developing a wider product and service range to meet the needs of the strongly growing clientele. "I believe that in today's communication world the majority of companies will increasingly use tools and applications based on IP video. This will also result in the growing demand of high quality content production services to support their business. In this market GoodMood has excellent qualifications to operate with the help of its comprehensive service range. In the future we want to be a strong video communication house", GoodMood CEO Olli Ilmolahti sums up his customer oriented strategy. Corporation between the companies continues strong, because GoodMood owns 20 % of the new Camtenna company and current GoodMood technology director Rami Alanko will be nominated as Camtenna's CEO. He reveals that the company will continue significant investing on both R&D and SaaS based partner network business model expansion. As a representative of the investment group Juha Korhonen comments on the deal:"Camtenna believes strongly in the future of internet videos. When the world economic situation is turning for the better, growth will be incredibly fast." "I am happy that we got engaged and skilled owners for GoodMoodTV. Close co-operation enables the same flexibility and quality in customer solutions execution as so far." says GoodMood's CEO Olli Ilmolahti.
